Many business people have invested time and even money in developing a “Facebook Fanpage”. Most believed these Facebook fan pages would be like a personal FB account, but for businesses.
However, the problem is that unlike personal FB accounts, not everyone who likes your page will see your fanpage post in their feed.
As a matter of fact this was never the case. As of spring 2014, only 1% to 3% of your likes on your fanpage will see the post.
There are a few solutions:
1) If those who do see your post share it… well Facebook will then have more of your likes see it because it is popular. This means your post has to be engaging and interesting enough for people to share.
2) You can pay to promote your post. (Like creating a pay-per-click ad)
All this being said, the days of free business marketing on Facebook will be a thing of the past.
